Program 2024
Saturday 4 May. Bank Holiday
The Presidential Daredevil Wing walk. Cambridgeshire
raising money for the Limbless Blesma veterans.
Ever since the horrors of the first world war, BLESMA has supported those that have lost limbs through conflict. Their work enables these veterans to lead independent and fulfilling lives. As Colchester Medical Society celebrates its 250th Anniversary, we are proud to raise funds for this Essex-based charity.
On Saturday 4th May 2024, our co-president, Greg Wynn will be undertaking a wing walk to raise funds for this worthwhile cause.

Friday June 15th
Colchester Medical Society and Junior Doctor Ball at The Talbooth.
The 250th Anniversary Ball will be held at The Talbooth Restaurant as they have proven to offer excellent service and facilities previously. We have collaborated with our Junior Doctor colleagues to arrange the music this year. We’ll welcome you with a solo vocalist singing the favourite numbers from the Rat Pack, followed by an energetic disco to get you up dancing (and prevent DVTs).
For the first time we have set up a booking facility on eventbrite. This should streamline the booking, choices and payment process, especially as we are currently without a permanent secretary. We suggest you check out the details on this link: CMS 250th Anniversary Ball, or search for Colchester Medical Society on www.eventbrite.co.uk
